Meet the Team Behind OpenFLIS
Synergetics Inc. was founded in 1995. Our team built and manages the government’s Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) data, and built OpenFLIS so companies can work with that data without government system access.
OpenFLIS is a commercial product of Synergetics Inc. It is not owned, sponsored or endorsed by the federal government.

Our team reads your request and emails you to set up a time that works for you. If you tell us what you’d like to see, we’ll plan the demo around it.
Which demo should I choose?
Pick as many as you like. Whole Platform covers the Search Tool, Reports and the API. Choose Search Tool to look up NSNs, CAGE codes and part numbers, Reports to get data for a whole list of NSNs at once, or API to bring FLIS data into your own software.
Is the demo free?
Yes. There’s no cost for a demo.
Can we use our own NSNs, CAGE codes or part numbers?
Yes. Bring a few, or list them in your request, and we’ll look them up together so you can see your own items in the data.
Can the demo cover using FLIS data in our ERP or other software?
Yes. Choose API and tell us which systems you use. We’ll show how your developers can request item, part number and CAGE data from the API and bring it into your software.
Can we talk about pricing?
Yes. Tell us roughly how many items or lookups you expect, and we’ll go over which plan fits. Current plans are on the Pricing page.
Can I start using OpenFLIS before the demo?
Yes. Create a free account at any time. The free plan is free forever and includes every feature. Searching and viewing records in the Search Tool is always free and unlimited; Reports and the API use credits from one shared balance.
Is OpenFLIS a government system?
No. OpenFLIS is a product of Synergetics Inc. It works with the unrestricted, unclassified FLIS data. It doesn’t include restricted, classified, service-unique, proprietary, NATO or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) content, and it doesn’t give access to government portals.
